A bizarre theft incident has emerged in the city, where unknown thieves taped the mouths of goats shut before stealing them.
The incident took place in the jurisdiction of the City Police Station, where three valuable goats were stolen from the compound of a laborer named Saeed Arain.
One goat suffocated to death due to the tape. The estimated value of the stolen goats is over Rs200,000.
The affected laborer has urged the authorities to take immediate action and has appealed to DPO Khanewal to take notice of the incident. Police have launched an investigation into the matter.
