Swat students have set an inspiring example of generosity by saving their pocket money in clay banks to support those in need during Ramadan. The initiative was launched by school teacher Muhammad Alam, who encouraged students to contribute their savings over several months.
Inspired by a similar campaign in Oman, Alam introduced the idea in schools, raising awareness about the importance of charity among students.
"We started this campaign eight months ago, and today, the money collected from these clay banks will be used to support those in need," said Alam.
As Ramadan approached, the students collectively broke open their clay banks, ensuring the funds were used to assist the underprivileged.
"We saved this money with the intention that it would help those in need," shared one student.
The campaign highlights how small acts of kindness can make a big difference, proving that even the smallest contributions can provide relief to those struggling during the holy month.
