Prince William has shared a rare glimpse into his family’s nighttime routine, revealing that one of their beloved pets sleeps in the same bed as him and Kate Middleton.
During a visit to Duchy College Stoke Climsland in Callington, Cornwall, the Prince of Wales told a local resident that their little dog often joins them at night.
"[William] said that his little dog sleeps on the bed with them at night, with him and Kate," Louise Harland, a local who spoke to the Prince, was quoted as saying by BBC Radio Cornwall.
The royal couple’s dog, a Cockerjack—a crossbreed between a Cocker Spaniel and a Jack Russell Terrier—appears to have won William’s affection. The Prince reportedly expressed fascination with the breed, admitting he had never encountered one before.
This is not the first time the future King has shared details about his pets. Earlier this year, during a visit to Woodgate Valley Urban Farm, he spoke about his children’s guinea pigs, revealing that caring for them often falls on his shoulders.
"I have to spend my life cleaning out the guinea pig cage because the children forget to do it," he remarked. "The ones we've got at home, they're off. You have to keep them constantly stroked and looked after," he added, contrasting his pets with the calmer ones at the farm.
Prince William and Kate Middleton have long been known for their love of animals, with their pets playing a prominent role in their family life.
