Federal Minister Abdul Aleem Khan said on Saturday that those involved in the malign campaign on social media will bear the brunt.
According to details, the Kot Pindi Das Interchange on the Lahore-Islamabad Motorway (M-2) was officially opened today. The ceremony was presided over by Aleem Khan, who unveiled the new interchange to the public.
Expressing his thoughts on the occasion, Aleem Khan praised Federal Minister Rana Tanveer, saying, “I have seen Rana Tanveer serving the people. I have not seen any other MNA or federal minister who feels the pain of the masses in the same way.”
“Rana Tanveer ensures the development of his constituency with great dedication and devotion,” said Khan.
Taking a jibe at the political opponents, Aleem Khan said: "It is very easy to pen rubbish stuff on social media. If you are daring enough, sacrifice your children."
"They use social media in a way that they had conquered all of Pakistan," he added.
Aleem Khan lavished praise on the Pakistan Army, saying, "The country would not have survived a single day, without the Pakistan Army."
"If you try to weaken the Army, the entire country will have to face the consequences," he said.
He stated: "The entire country has left at stake only to save one person. We had given four years to the father of the political party. Now, show patience."
"You used to get happy by putting people behind bars. At that time, you used to claim that Naya Pakistan is being created," he said.
Speaking about Rana Sanaullah, Aleem Khan said: "The bogus case made against Rana Sanaullah would have led him to the death sentence. At that time, I also stood against the bogus case."
"Those who are staging propaganda will bear the brunt and the country will continue to witness prosperity. We stood with the Pakistan Army," he maintained.
