Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi halted on Thursday the deduction of the players' match fees in the upcoming National T20 Cup, slated to happen from Friday.
According to details, the PCB spokesperson said that the PCB chairman had stopped the reduction of the match fees of the players for the upcoming domestic competition.
"The PCB chairman had issued instructions to the Director Domestic Cricket Abdullah Khurram Niazi in this regard," said the PCB spokesperson.
The spokesperson said, "The instructions have been issued to immediately review the reduction of the players in the domestic T20 tournament."
It is pertinent to note that it was reported that the players will get Rs for per match, which sparked controversy, but now the PCB chief has become the voice of the domestic cricketers.
The National T20 Cup is slated to happen from March 14 (Friday), featuring 18 teams from 16 regions.
