The government has decided to convene a joint session of parliament on March 10 at 3 pm, during which President Asif Ali Zardari will address lawmakers.
The president’s address will mark the beginning of the second parliamentary year, as per constitutional requirements.
Officials said that preparations are underway for the session, which will set the tone for the upcoming legislative agenda.
Meanwhile, the National Assembly is scheduled to meet separately the following day, March 11 at 11 am, to take up key matters of governance and policy.
President Zardari's address is expected to highlight the government's priorities, economic challenges, and policy direction for the coming year.
