The Election Commission of Pakistan announced on Friday the schedule for the by-election in the National Assembly constituency NA-213, which became vacant following the passing of PPP’s Nawab Yusuf Talpur.
According to the released schedule, candidates can submit their nomination papers from March 4 to 6.
The provisional list of candidates will be issued on March 7, and the scrutiny of nomination papers will be completed by March 13.
Appeals against the decisions of the Returning Officer will be resolved by 24 March, and the last date for withdrawal of nomination papers and issuance of the final list of candidates has been set for March 27.
The election symbols will be allotted to candidates on March 27.
Polling for the by-election will take place on Thursday, April 17.
