The 20th Cholistan Desert Rally 2025 concluded with a thrilling display of skill and endurance as Zain Mehmood emerged as the winner in the prestigious A-Prepared Category.
Held in the challenging terrain of the Cholistan Desert and organized by the Tourism Development Corporation of Punjab (TDCP), the rally brought together Pakistan’s top rally drivers to compete in a series of high-speed, off-road races.
Racing through the desert
Mehmood completed the course with an impressive time of 03:56:54, edging out fierce competitors Nadir Magsi & Nusrat Ali, who secured second place with a time of 03:58:48. Jaffar Magsi & Ibrahim Khakwani rounded out the top three in the A-Prepared Category, finishing at 04:05:41.
Other categories also saw intense competition, with Asad Shadikhel & Fayyaz Hammad dominating the B-Prepared Category, and Dina Patel & Ali Aden showcasing their prowess in the Women-Prepared Category.
Category winners highlight diverse talent
The rally witnessed notable victories across various categories. In the Prepared B-Category, Asad Shadikhel & Fayyaz Hammad finished first, while Falak Sher Khan & Allah Noor led the C-Prepared Category. Meanwhile, veterans Amir Magsi & Rehan Qureshi claimed victory in the Veterans Category, demonstrating the skill of seasoned racers.
