The security forces conducted multiple intelligence-based operations in different areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa between January 30 and 31, killing 10 terrorists, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported.
According to ISPR, four terrorists were neutralized in an operation in the Kulachi area of Dera Ismail Khan, while six more were killed in four clashes in North Waziristan. Firefights took place in Datta Khel, Hassan Khel, Ghulam Khan, and Mir Ali, resulting in the elimination of the terrorists.
Security forces also recovered a significant cache of arms and ammunition from the slain terrorists. ISPR confirmed that these terrorists were involved in attacks against security forces and the killing of civilians.
A sanitization operation is currently underway in these areas to eliminate any remaining threats. "Security forces remain committed to eradicating the menace of terrorism from the country," ISPR reaffirmed.
