The security forces have eliminated 30 terrorists in three separate operations across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) between January 24 and 25.
The operations, based on intelligence reports, targeted terrorist hideouts in Lakki Marwat, Karak, and Khyber districts, resulting in significant blows to terrorist networks.
The forces conducted an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Lakki Marwat district, engaging a terrorist hideout. During the operation, 18 terrorists were killed, and six others injured.
Moreover, another operation was conducted in Karak, leading to the elimination of eight terrorists following an intense fire exchange. The operation disrupted terrorist activities in the region, further weakening their operational capabilities.

In the third operation, security forces successfully neutralized four terrorists, including two high-profile ringleaders Azizur Rehman (alias Qari Ismail) and Mukhlis, in Bagh area of Khyber district. Two other terrorists were injured in the encounter.
The security forces recovered a significant cache of weapons and ammunition from the killed terrorists, who were said to be actively involved in attacks on security forces and the killing of innocent civilians.
Following these engagements, the forces launched sanitization operations in the affected areas to eliminate any remaining terrorists. The forces reiterated their unwavering commitment to eradicating terrorism and ensuring the safety of civilians across Pakistan.
