The Infinix Note 40S, launched on 29 September 2024, emerged as a formidable contender in the mid-range smartphone market with its impressive blend of specifications and affordability.
Equipped with a 6.78-inch AMOLED display, the Note 40S offered a resolution of 1080 x 2436 pixels at approximately 393 pixels-per-inch, delivering crisp visuals and vibrant colours.
The device was powered by an Octa-Core Mediatek Helio G99 Ultimate processor, complemented by the Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, ensuring smooth performance for everyday tasks and gaming requirements.
It featured 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, providing ample capacity for the users. The phone operated on XOS 14, built on top of the Android 14 operating system, offering an updated and user-friendly interface.
Highlighting its photography capabilities, the Infinix Note 40S was equipped with a dual-camera setup on the rear, featuring a 108 MP primary lens paired with a 2 MP secondary lens. On the front, it housed a 32 MP camera, catering to high-quality selfies and video calls.
The device included a 5000-mAh battery, supporting fast charging and wireless charging. With Dual (Nano-SIM) connectivity, it measured 6.46 x 2.94 x 0.31 inches and weighed 176 grams, striking a balance between ergonomics and functionality.
