The Pakistan national cricket team announced on Friday the playing XI for the second Test against the West Indies, slated to begin on January 25 (Saturday).
According to details, the Shan Masood-led Pakistan team decided to induct fast bowler Kashif Ali, who will make his Test debut.
Ali will replace fast bowler Khurram Shahzad, who was the only pace bowler for Pakistan in the first Test against the West Indies.
Pakistan were leading the series 1-0 and aimed to wrap up the two-match Test series against the West Indies with a whitewash.
Pakistan spinners Sajid Khan, Noman Ali and Abrar Ahmed dominated the West Indies batters in the series opener in the spin-friendly conditions of Multan.
For the West Indies, Jomel Warrican was the only bowler to trouble the Pakistan batters and bag a 10-wicket haul.
