Thai authorities have issued a stern warning to travellers applying for e-visas to Thailand, emphasizing the importance of submitting original and authentic travel documents.
The Thai Consulate in Karachi has announced strict new measures, including blacklisting, for those applying using fake documents.
According to the advisory, all applicants must upload original travel documents, including airline tickets and hotel bookings, as part of the e-visa application process. The consulate stressed that these documents are mandatory and will be closely scrutinized during the verification process.
The Thai consulate cautioned that both applicants and travel agents found involved in submitting fraudulent documents would face severe consequences, including being blacklisted for travel to Thailand.
