The price of gold in Pakistan saw a third consecutive increase on Friday, reflecting global market trends.
In the local market, the price of 24-karat gold per tola increased by Rs400, settling at Rs282,600, according to data shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold hiked by Rs342, taking it to Rs242,283.

In the international market also, the price of gold saw a rise of $2 on Friday, reaching $2,705 per ounce with an additional premium of $20.
The price of silver in the local market, however, decreased by Rs27 to reach Rs3,406 per tola.
