In Muzaffarabad, light rain and snowfall graced the upper areas of Azad Kashmir, including Neelum Valley, Jhelum Valley, and Leepa Valley, where brief spells of snow adorned the peaks.
Residents of Muzaffarabad city rejoiced as light rain cleared the dusty atmosphere, rendering the weather pleasant and invigorating.
The weather department indicated that rain and snowfall would likely continue in the coming hours, further enhancing the region’s scenic beauty.
In Quetta, light snowfall coupled with rain turned the area into a winter wonderland.
The temperature dropped two degrees below freezing, intensifying the cold. Residents flocked to food streets and cafes to savour warm delicacies, with many enjoying steaming chicken corn soup and spicy fried fish.
A Quetta resident expressed delight, saying, “The hot meals have made the cold weather more enjoyable and cosy.”
The meteorological department predicted more rain and snowfall in Quetta and northern Balochistan over the next 24 hours.
