Light rain and snowfall in Quetta and its surrounding areas turned the city into a scenic winter retreat as the cold weather prompted residents to step out of their homes to enjoy the enchanting atmosphere.
The chilly conditions led many citizens to visit popular food streets, where the aroma of winter delicacies filled the air. From hot chicken corn soup to freshly fried fish, residents indulged in hearty meals to warm themselves amidst the frosty weather.
The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) reported that the minimum temperature in Quetta dropped to -2°C, while the mercury plunged to -4°C in Kalat.
Officials also forecasted rain in northern parts of Balochistan and snowfall in the province’s mountainous regions.
The wintery charm brought by the weather created a festive ambiance, with citizens making the most of the rare snowfall in the region.
