Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) investigated a social media campaign against Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz and FIA's Cyber Crimes Wing in Lahore has registered a case against PTI leaders Shahbaz Gul and Imran Riaz Khan.
In connection with two other cases, three suspects have been arrested from Muzaffargarh, Faisalabad, and Lahore. According to FIA officials, the arrested individuals include Nadeem, Ijaz, and Aamir.
The suspects face charges of running a campaign against the Chief Minister and a senior UAE figure on social media. The accused allegedly circulated fake videos targeting domestic and international dignitaries.
FIA officials have confirmed that efforts are underway to arrest Shahbaz Gul and Imran Riaz, who are also implicated in the case.
