The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has registered an FIR against fugitives Shahbaz Gill and Moeed Pirzada under Cyber Crime Inquiry Nos. RE 56-2025 and RE 57-2025, accusing them of sharing anti-state content through social media platforms.
According to the FIR, both individuals are charged with disseminating threatening content aimed at state officials, allegedly inciting them to revolt.
The text of the FIR highlights their involvement in anti-state propaganda, making unfounded allegations of bribery against key state figures and institutions.
The FIR states that Shahbaz Gill, son of Nazir Ahmed, and Moeed Pirzada, son of Pirzada Ghulam Mohiuddin, used social media accounts to undermine state institutions and disseminate malicious content.
Both fugitives are accused of spreading propaganda from abroad, damaging the credibility of state institutions through baseless allegations.
The registered case cites violations under Sections 9, 10, and 11 of the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (PECA) 2016. The FIR text further alleges that both individuals have persistently engaged in fake propaganda targeting Pakistan, its institutions, and its officials.
Law enforcement agencies are reportedly pursuing further action to apprehend the accused, who remain outside Pakistan.
