Former Pakistan captain Sarfaraz Ahmed on Sunday said that the nine-year journey with Quetta Gladiators in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) makes him proud.
Taking to social media, Ahmed said: “I would like to tell you that my journey with Quetta Gladiators has come to an end. My journey with the team has remained exceptional and beautiful.”
He expressed his gratitude to Gladiators owner Nadeem Omar, saying, “I would like to express my gratitude to Nadeem Omar for providing me with an opportunity to play in his team.”
Ahmed stated, “Quetta Gladiators had provided me with every opportunity, which was required of me as both the player and captain.”
He said: “I will remember every moment I made with Quetta Gladiators.”
“I will always extend my best wishes to the team,” Ahmed added.
