Pakistan batter Saim Ayub’s brother Moiz Ayub claimed on Saturday that the opener will start his training from the second week of February.
Taking to Instagram, Moiz said: “Alhamdulilah, it is because of all of you [fans] prayers that Insha-Allah he will be back with a bang.”
Separately, Saim had shared his first statement following a medical check-up in London.
Saim had an appointment today with specialist Dr David Redfern and was also examined at a central London clinic on Thursday.
Saim completed his second check-up and was discharged from the hospital. Speaking on the occasion, he revealed, "Doctors have informed me that my ankle is improving, and I can now bear weight on my leg." He added that his test reports would be sent to the medical panel for further assessment.
