A man in Gujranwala was allegedly tied to a bed and set on fire by his own daughters.
The incident occurred in the Mughal Chowk area of Civil Lines, where police have registered a case against the daughters and their two mothers.
The victim, identified as Ali Akbar, was married three times and had 12 children. He was living in a rented house with his two surviving wives, as the first one had passed away.
According to the police complaint filed by Akbar's sister, his daughters allegedly tied him to the bed before setting him ablaze. The motive behind the alleged attack remains under investigation.
"The victim died in the hospital," they reported.
The police have taken the two daughters into custody and are investigating the incident from all angles.
One of the suspects alleged during investigation that their father had sexually abused both of them.
