The Royal Commission for Riyadh City has officially announced the commencement of operations for the "Orange Track - Medina Road Corridor" as part of the Riyadh Railway Project.
The new track connects the eastern part of Riyadh to the western side, stretching 41 kilometers in total. The track runs from the western Jeddah Road to the final station in the eastern part near Khashm Al-An.
The Orange Track serves five major stations that facilitate passenger travel, including Jeddah Road Station, Tuwaiq Station, Al-Douh Station, Haroun Al-Rashid Road Station, and Al-Naseem Station.
In addition, the Royal Commission has also launched three new stations on the "Blue Track - Al-Ulaya Al-Batha Road Corridor". These stations include Al-Murooj, Bank Al-Bilad, and King Fahd Library Station.
The ongoing expansion of the Riyadh Train Network, which includes six active routes, is greatly enhancing connectivity between different areas of the city. This project provides improved commuting options for both residents and visitors. The service operates from 6:00 AM to 12:00 AM, offering travelers a reliable and convenient transportation option.
Passengers can easily access train route details and purchase tickets through the Darb application. Additionally, tickets can be obtained via self-service machines at train stations or through digital payment methods such as bank cards, credit cards, phones, and smart devices.
