Winter rains and snowfall affected several parts of Pakistan, including Chagai, Gilgit, Chaman, and Killa Abdullah to bring colder temperatures.
According to details, the first winter rainfall swept Dalbandin, Yakmach, Posti, Barabcha, Taftan, and Saindak In Chagai. Cold winds followed, intensifying the chill.
In Gilgit, snowfall began in upper areas, while light drizzle affected the city. The meteorological department forecasted heavier snowfall overnight.
Chaman and its surrounding areas experienced rainfall, increasing the cold. Authorities predicted snowfall on nearby mountains by night, leading to further drops in temperature.

Separately, few days back, as the temperature in Peshawar dropped, the residents flocked to the famous Namak Mandi food point to indulge in warm, traditional dishes.
According to details, the chilly weather prompted people to step out of their homes to savour delicacies like mutton karahi, seekh kebabs, and creamy malai boti.
“With the cold intensifying, many are enjoying piping hot mutton karahi, while others prefer the sizzling seekh kebabs,” said a local food vendor.
