Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) said the venue for the West Indies vs. Pakistan Shaheens three-day match has been changed from Pindi Cricket Stadium to Islamabad Club Oval Ground.
The preparations for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 are underway at the original venue.
The match, scheduled from January 10 to 12, is part of the West Indies team's tour of Pakistan. The visiting team is set to arrive in Islamabad on January 6, and both teams will participate in practice sessions from January 7 to 9.
Sources revealed that preparations at Pindi Cricket Stadium include the development of new wickets and the installation of chairs in the stands, both expected to commence next week. Additionally, work on installing floodlights at the venue will also begin in the coming days.
The venue change ensures smooth progress in Pindi Stadium's preparations for hosting international fixtures, while cricket fans can look forward to the action at the scenic Islamabad Club Oval.
