The Cambodian government has announced a reduction in e-visa fees for tourists and business travelers starting January 2025.
In a press release dated December 28, the government stated that the fee for tourist e-visas (type T) will be reduced from $36 to $30, while the fee for regular e-visas (type E) will decrease from $42 to $35.
This initiative aims to boost tourism and attract more investors to Cambodia.
The country is projected to welcome approximately 6.7 million international visitors and 22 million domestic tourists in 2024, surpassing pre-pandemic levels recorded in 2019.
Tourism, along with garment and travel goods exports, agriculture, and construction and real estate, is a key pillar of Cambodia's economy.
