The death toll in a tragic road accident on the Moro National Highway has risen to eight, with one more person succumbing to their injuries at the hospital.
The collision occurred when a trailer and a van collided near Moro in Naushahro Feroze district.
The van was carrying a family returning from a wedding ceremony. In addition to the eight fatalities, 15 others were injured in the crash.
The injured victims were initially rushed to a nearby hospital, where their condition was described as critical.
However, due to a lack of medical facilities and resources at the local hospital, 10 of the injured individuals were later transferred to a more equipped facility in Nawabshah for further treatment.
