The seven-day 32nd National Handball Championship concluded at Dring Stadium, Bahawalpur, organized by the Pakistan Army in collaboration with the Pakistan Handball Federation.
The event drew immense enthusiasm, with a large crowd of spectators and participation from handball teams across Pakistan. Over 300 players showcased their skills, representing teams from the Army, Police, WAPDA, Higher Education Commission, and all five provinces.
The championship featured league-based matches held from December 22 to December 28, culminating in a grand finale. WAPDA emerged as the champion team, while the Army team secured the runner-up position.
During the closing ceremony, medals and prizes were awarded to the top-performing teams and players, celebrating their exceptional efforts.
Lieutenant General Saqib Mehmood Malik (Hilal-e-Imtiaz Military) graced the event as the chief guest, commending the players and organizers for a successful championship that highlighted the spirit of competition and excellence in sports.
The championship underscored Pakistan’s commitment to nurturing talent and promoting sportsmanship on a national level.
