The body of Sukkur IBA University Assistant Controller of Examinations Ishtiaq Memon was found at his home on Sunday.
According to police officials, Memon was discovered dead inside his residence, while his two sisters were found unconscious. The police stated that relatives had broken into the house after repeated attempts to contact Memon failed.
The authorities further confirmed that both of Memon's sisters were rushed to the hospital in critical condition.
Family members shared that the post-mortem had been completed at Civil Hospital, but the report had not yet been received.
The Sukkur SSP stated that investigations into the incident were ongoing, and the situation would become clearer after the post-mortem report.
