Several sections of the motorway were closed due to the increasing fog in the region. Motorway M3 was closed from Faizpur Lahore to Dera Khana, according to the motorway police.
A spokesperson for the motorway reported that Motorway M4, from Pindi Bhattian to Multan, was also shut down due to the severe fog.
In addition, Motorway M2, from Lahore to Hiran Minar, was closed, as confirmed by the spokesperson. The closures caused significant disruptions to traffic in the affected areas.

Few days back, it was reported that the dense fog covered multiple cities across Pakistan, causing reduced visibility and an increase in cold weather. Areas including Islamkot, Nangarparkar, Deeplo, and surroundings experienced thick fog, intensifying the chill.
In Lahore, dense fog prevailed early in the morning, accompanied by freezing winds. The city witnessed a sharp drop in temperatures, affecting daily routines.
