Religious groups are staging sit-ins at ten key locations across Karachi to protest against the recent Parachinar incidents. The demonstrations have significantly disrupted traffic flow in various parts of the city.
According to SAMAA's correspondent Khurshid Alam, reporting from Nashim Chowrangi, the sit-ins are taking place at the following locations: Numaish Chowrangi, Faisal Natha Khan Street, Golimar, North Karachi Power House, University Road, Abbas Town, Five Star Chowrangi, Surjani, Pakistan Incholi Street, Gulistan-e-Johar and Kamran Chowrangi.
The closure of major roads due to these protests has caused severe traffic jams, forcing the traffic police to implement alternative routes to manage the situation.
Citizens are advised to plan their travel accordingly and stay updated with traffic alerts to avoid inconvenience.
