In the viral clip, a couple unintentionally blocks a snowy pathway, forcing the penguin to stop and wait quietly behind them. Unaware of the bird's presence, the couple continues to enjoy the scenic views, while the penguin stands still, patiently waiting for them to move.

Once they realize the little creature is waiting, the couple steps aside, allowing the penguin to pass. The penguin, known for its preference for established paths, had likely been following the easiest route, even if it meant using human-made trails.
Ciera Ybarra, who shared the video on Instagram, humorously captioned it: “When you're too nervous to say excuse me and there is traffic on the penguin highway.” Her post further explained that the red flags in the video marked a human-made trail intended to keep visitors away from penguin nesting areas, but the penguins often veer onto these paths.
