The process of transferring the convicts of the May 9 tragedy to prison has commenced. Eleven individuals sentenced by military courts have been transferred to Kot Lakhpat Jail.
Authorities revealed that seven of these convicts have been sentenced to 10 years of rigorous imprisonment. Two convicts received six-year sentences, while one was sentenced to four years, and another to two years.
The convicts involved in the May 9 incident will serve their sentences in Kot Lakhpat Jail. The group includes eight individuals from Lahore, two from the twin cities, and one from Nowshera.
