Former federal minister Fawad Chaudhry claimed on Sunday that there were efforts to marginalise Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan, but such attempts were unlikely to succeed.
Expressing his thoughts on Samaa TV programme, "Mere Sawal With Absar Alam", Chaudhry expressed concerns over attempts to marginalise the party's founder. He criticised the PTI leadership’s current state, saying that while there was a lack of competence among some members, the party’s base remained strong.
"The people who represent the PTI founder don't seem to be from Pakistan. They resemble spokespersons for banned groups," he added.
