The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has conducted a major operation in Lahore, resulting in the seizure of 5 kilograms of cocaine and the arrest of two alleged smugglers connected to a South American drug trafficking network.
The operation, centered in Bahria Town, consisted of two coordinated intelligence-based raids. During the first raid, officers discovered cocaine concealed in a vehicle, leading to an immediate arrest at the scene.
Following initial intelligence, ANF teams conducted a subsequent raid at Bahria Homes, where additional cocaine was recovered. The operation also resulted in the confiscation of two luxury vehicles allegedly used in the drug trafficking operation.
ANF officials revealed that undercover officers had been monitoring the smuggling network's activities, with one officer successfully infiltrating the operation through simulated transactions to gather critical intelligence.
The raids effectively disrupted the cocaine supply network operating in Lahore, according to ANF sources. The operation involved surveillance at multiple locations throughout the city, leading to a comprehensive exposure of the smuggling network's infrastructure.
Law enforcement officials confirmed that the seized substances have been secured as evidence, and investigations are ongoing to identify potential additional members of the trafficking network.
