The Lahore High Court (LHC) has declared the petition filed by the PTI founder inadmissible, challenging the trial court's decision to allow written testimonies in the defamation case filed by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
LHC Justice Chaudhry Muhammad Iqbal announced the reserved verdict, rejecting the PTI founder’s plea.
The petitioner argued that the trial court's decision was contrary to the facts and that witnesses should appear to provide verbal testimony.
The petitioner had requested the court to annul the trial court's decision, but the High Court upheld the original ruling, maintaining the validity of written testimonies in the case.
