Speaking in Punjabi, Diljit stated, “India lacks the proper infrastructure for live shows. This is a huge revenue-generating sector that provides livelihoods to many. Authorities need to focus on improving this space.”
The ‘Lover’ singer went on to emphasize the need for better concert layouts to enhance the fan experience. He shared his vision of creating a central stage with the crowd distributed around it, adding, “I will not perform here until things improve. Instead of troubling us, fix the infrastructure.”
Diljit’s bold statement has sparked conversations about the state of live event management in India, especially considering the rapid growth of the music and entertainment industries.
As part of his ongoing Dil-Luminati Tour, Dosanjh is set to perform in Mumbai next, with the Indian leg of the tour concluding in Guwahati on December 29.
