Pakistani social media star Rajab Butt, widely known for his entertaining YouTube vlogs, is making waves once again—but this time, for reasons beyond content creation.
From his viral wedding celebrations to his surprising acting career and recent arrest, Rajab Butt has become the talk of the town.

Rajab Butt as an actor:
In a recent podcast interview, Rajab Butt revealed an unknown chapter of his life—his acting debut. Butt shared that he starred alongside actress Kinza Hashmi in “Rani,” a drama that aired in 2008. He played a lead role opposite Kinza in a village-based love story where his character leaves for the city to pursue success, only to return and face heartbreak.
Wedding:
Rajab Butt’s extravagant wedding recently became a viral sensation. The lavish multi-day celebration featured traditional events like mehndi, mayoun, and baraat, with well-known TikTokers, YouTubers, and media representatives in attendance.
From showering dollars at the ceremony to gifting luxury items like gold-plated iPhones and even a lion cub, the wedding attracted significant media attention and criticism.
Arrest:
The festivities, however, took an unexpected turn. After videos of the lion cub gifted at Butt’s wedding went viral, the Wildlife Department and police raided his residence in Lahore. The illegal possession of the lion cub, along with unlicensed firearms, led to Rajab Butt’s brief arrest.
Authorities seized the cub, and after legal proceedings, Butt was released.
Philanthropy:
During the podcast, Rajab Butt also disclosed that he earns between 3 to 4 million PKR monthly from TikTok live sessions, a significant portion of which he donates to charity.
He highlighted his efforts in helping the underprivileged, particularly assisting with wedding expenses for girls from low-income families.
