Former Punjab chief minister Hamza Shehbaz on Sunday expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) stalwart Siddiqul Farooq.
Expressing his thoughts, Hamza said: “Siddiqul Farooq was a shrewd politician and a staunch ideological worker of the PML-N. With his death, PML-N has lost a valuable political asset.”
He prayed, “May the Higher Power grant Siddiqul Farooq Sahib a place in His mercy and bless him with eternal peace.”
Hamza also extended his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and loved ones, sharing in their grief.

“I stand with the bereaved family in this difficult time,” he said.
Earlier today, it was reported that the noted political leader passed away in Islamabad after battling a prolonged kidney ailment.
