Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) spokesperson Sheikh Waqas Akram has announced that the details of the party's civil disobedience movement will be disclosed tomorrow. He emphasized that the movement will be carried out in phases.
In an exclusive interview with Samaa TV, he clarified that the details of the movement were initially scheduled to be shared after the Martyrs' Day gathering.
Sheikh Waqas noted that the Martyrs' Day gathering, originally planned for December 13, will now take place on December 15 in Peshawar. He described the gathering as solely a prayer ceremony with no political decisions being made. He added that after the prayer ceremony, efforts are underway to convene a meeting of the seven founding leaders of PTI to finalize strategies for the movement.
"The phases of the civil disobedience movement will be unveiled after the prayer ceremony," said Waqas Akram, underlining that the party is making efforts to hold a meeting of the leadership with the PTI founder.

Reacting to statements made by Khawaja Asif during his interview with Samaa TV, the PTI spokesperson refuted claims that the party had approached anyone for negotiations. "We have not and will not request talks," he asserted. However, he acknowledged that PTI Founder Imran Khan has formed a committee that is open to dialogue with all stakeholders.
Sheikh Waqas also addressed accusations regarding Imran Khan's stance on the army, emphasizing that he holds no animosity toward the military. "The founding chairman has never said anything against the army or incited hatred. He says this army is ours, and this country is ours," he stated firmly.
The spokesperson further remarked that the founding PTI chairman is supported by his family, including his sisters, Bushra Bibi, and "the country's children", dismissing criticisms from political opponents. He advised Khawaja Asif to "worry about his own home" instead of making baseless accusations.
