Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Gen Syed Asim Munir expressed on Thursday a keen desire for an expanded scope of defence and security collaboration with the Qatari armed forces.
Chief of Staff of Qatar Armed Forces Lieutenant Gen (Pilot) Salem Hamad Eqail Al-Nabet called on Gen Syed Asim Munir at the General Headquarters.
During their meeting, the two military leaders engaged in discussions pertaining to mutual interests, professional matters, and the prevailing regional security situation. COAS Gen Asim Munir emphasised Pakistan's deep-seated regard for its fraternal ties with Qatar.
Meanwhile, the Qatari Army Chief commended the continuous efforts of the Pakistan Army in pursuit of peace and stability within the region.
He affirmed his commitment to fostering improved relations between the two nations.
