Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal said on Thursday that Pakistan had remained lagging behind other countries in terms of progress due to the political uncertainty.
Expressing his thoughts, the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) stalwart said, “There is a dire need to understand the vision of Allama Muhammad Iqbal to steer the country towards prosperity.”
“The authentic data is of primary importance to achieve sustainable economic growth. The targeted goals have been relied on 68 percent of the authentic data,” he stated.

“Pakistan was a stable country in terms of economy till 1999. At that time, our currency was robust in the region. We could lead towards the progress by inculcating the teachings of great poet-philosopher Allama Muhammad Iqbal,” said the planning minister.
