Gold prices in Pakistan witnessed a decline on Saturday, mirroring the downward trend in international markets.
The price of gold per tola fell by Rs300, settling at Rs274,400, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
In addition to the decrease in per tola prices, the cost of gold per 10 grams also dropped by Rs257, reaching Rs235,254. The price dip follows a similar decline of Rs1,000 per tola the previous day, highlighting ongoing volatility in the local market.
Internationally, the price of gold experienced a fall on Saturday, with the APGJSA reporting that the gold rate stood at $2,632 per ounce, including a premium of $20. This marked a decrease of $3 during the day.
Despite the downward trend in gold, silver prices in the local market remained stable, holding steady at Rs3,400 per tola.
