After a minor increase a day ago, the price of gold in Pakistan saw a decline on Friday, reflecting global market trends.
In the local market, the price of 24-karat gold per tola dropped by Rs1,000, settling at Rs274,700, according to data shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold decreased by Rs857, taking it to Rs235,511.

In the international market also, the price of gold came down by $10 on Friday, reaching $2,645 per ounce with an additional premium of $20.
Silver prices in the local market, however, remained stable at Rs3,400 per tola.
