In a shocking incident fuelled by greed, a man was lured and brutally murdered by his cousin in Sheikhupura.
According to the police, the suspects used a knife to sever the victim’s thumb, which they repeatedly used to withdraw money from ATMs. In total, the suspects managed to steal Rs1 million. The body of the victim was later found in a parked car.
Police used advanced technology to trace and solve the blind murder case, leading to the arrest of the suspects. During the investigation, authorities recovered the severed thumb, which the accused had planned to use for further withdrawals.
The victim, identified as Yaseen, was the only son of his parents and a resident of Faisalabad. A case has been registered, and further investigations are underway, confirmed the police spokesperson.
