An earthquake has been felt across several districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The tremors were felt in Malakand, Swat, Chitral, Mansehra, Battagram, Torghar, and Shangla, as well as their surrounding areas.
According to the National Seismic Monitoring Centre, Islamabad, the epicentre of the earthquake was the Afghanistan-Tajikistan border region with a depth of 212km. The magnitude of the tremors was said to be 5.2 on the Richter scale.
Some people also reported having felt the quake in the capital city of Islamabad.

Residents reported feeling the tremors, causing panic and prompting people to rush out of their homes and workplaces.
The tremors were felt in Afghanistan and as far as India-held Kashmir, with people reporting having felt the jolts. India's National Center for Seismology reported that the magnitude of the earthquake was 5.8 on Richter scale with a depth of 165km and the epicentre being Afghanistan.

On Wednesday night also, an earthquake was felt in Buner and its adjoining areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to the National Seismic Monitoring Centre, Islamabad, strong tremors were felt in the Afghanistan-Tajikistan Border region with a depth of 85km. The magnitude of the earthquake was recorded at 4.6 on the Richter Scale.
