Federal Information Minister Atta Tarar scoffed on Thursday at Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan.
Hitting out at the PTI founder, Tarar said, “The slogan of postponing the protest if released from the jail described the frustration of the PTI founder.”
“It has been proved that the real purpose of giving the call to stage the November 24 protest is to do struggle for reaching a deal with the stakeholders,” Tarar maintained.
The minister stated, “The person who used to stand against going for the deal is now longing for the deal.”
“Only you will now deal with the law as you violated it,” he assailed the PTI founder.
– Better for PTI to approach parliament rather than holding protest –
Meanwhile, PML-N leader Rana Tanveer Hussain said on Thursday that it would be better for the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to approach the parliament rather than hold the protest.
Expressing his thoughts, Hussain said, “We are democratic people, so we are ready to hold the talks if the PTI wants to hold the talks with us.”
“It is up to the courts to wrap up the cases against the PTI founder,” he said.
Hussain stated, “We have done with the preparations to tackle the upcoming protest on November 24.”
“Staging the protest is not a new thing for the PTI, as the party calls the protests every now and then,” he said.
