Heavy deployment of security personnel has been ordered for Islamabad and Rawalpindi, with particular attention to sensitive locations. The ministry has also initiated geofencing of Afghan refugee camps in Islamabad and other cities to monitor activities and enhance surveillance.
Sources claimed that authorities are considering stringent actions against individuals involved in disruptive protests. Measures under discussion include canceling their academic credentials and admissions, blocking their passports, identity cards, and SIM cards.
Additionally, monitoring of suspicious areas has intensified to preempt potential acts of terrorism, further ensuring public safety and stability.
These proactive steps underscore the government's commitment to maintaining law and order amidst evolving security challenges.
