The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) denied on Sunday the reports of Jason Gillespie’s removal as the Pakistan national cricket team's red-ball head coach.
According to details, the PCB said, "Jason Gillespie will remain the head coach of the Pakistan national cricket team in the red-ball format."
"Jason Gillespie will continue to take up the responsibility as the Green Shirts' head coach for the forthcoming two-match Test series against South Africa," stated the PCB.

Separately, it was reported that former Lahore Qalandars head coach Aaqib Javed is likely to be appointed as the Pakistan national cricket team’s white-ball coach.
Sources divulged on Sunday that Javed will take up the responsibility of the head coach during Pakistan's tour of Zimbabwe.
