The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has decided to take strict legal action over the harassment and heckling of Defence Minister Khawaja Asif in London.
According to details surfaced on Thursday, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had condemned the heckling and harassment of Asif in London. The premier had been provided with the details pertaining to the threats received by Asif.
PM Shehbaz expressed his anger over the threats and foul language hurled at Asif.
Sources divulged that the Pakistan High Commission in London was unaware of the arrival of Asif. However, the high commission had been informed about the situation following the untoward incident.
Meanwhile, the PM House had started to mull giving the instructions to the ministers to avoid unnecessary travelling on private visits.
Asif will submit the report of the incident to the London police.
The Pakistan High Commission in London had also decided to take stern action over the incident.
