Former prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi on Monday emphasised the need for gathering a group of at least six individuals to address and resolve Pakistan's pressing issues.
Speaking exclusively to Samaa TV, Abbasi clarified that there have been no discussions with Nawaz Sharif regarding his return. He mentioned that his meeting primarily centred around the current situation in the country.
In light of the current circumstances, Abbasi stated that he was not inclined towards participating in elections.
He firmly expressed his decision not to participate in the upcoming elections.
Abbasi affirmed that his leader is Nawaz Sharif, not Shehbaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz.
Abbasi voiced concerns that if Maryam Nawaz handles the party's affairs, it may lead to the separation of individuals like himself.

He mentioned that he was not inclined towards participating in welcoming Nawaz Sharif, adding that he was not informed about Nawaz Sharif's reception.
Recalling the vote of no confidence, he stated, ''The government would not have been formed after the vote of no confidence".
Abbasi revealed that his party had made the decision to form the government following the vote of no confidence.

He acknowledged that all individuals bear responsibility for the current circumstances in the country.
– Dispels rumours about forming new party –
Few days back, former prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi on Tuesday dispelled rumours about forming a new political party.
Speaking to Samaa TV following his meetup with PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif in London, Abbasi said, ‘’I only talk about forming the new party, but I did not make one’’.
‘’There is a dire need to compensate for the injustices that happened with Nawaz Sharif. I have had an association with Nawaz Sharif for the last 35 years. I and Nawaz Sharif exchanged views on the country’s political situation,'' he added.
